Join us a great journey back in time to see the great heritage of european history. We are going to visit several of the biggest and best castles, fortresses and fort ruins during our trip to Northern Hungary and Slovakia. Of course we wont miss opportunity to taste the nicest wines of the region, and to see the local cities, villages.

Full description :
Day 1 Upon arrival to Ferihegy airport our bus will go for a short Budapest sightseeing tour before we leave the city to Holloko. There we visit our first fortress and take walk in the village. Our next and last stop on the 1st day is Eger. Eger is the center of the eger wineregion and has a very attractive fortress, and history. After a walk in the city center, we take our accommodation.

Day 2 From Eger we go along a scenic road through szilvasvarad, and the bukk mountains to arrive to Aggtelek which is a World Heriage Site because of its karst caves. After we went through the caves (1hour walking), we go to visit a nice fortress of Boldogkovaralja where we are going to take our lunch in a medieval restaurant. After the lunch we check out the latest harvest in the wine cellars of Mad, which is part of the Tokaj wineregion, we will spend the night in Sarospatak.

Day 3 After the breakfast we go through the zemplen mountains, stop at the Fortress of Fuzer which is in ruins, but offers a fantasic panoramic view, later on we arrive to Kosice. After a short sightseeing walk in the downtown, there will be free time. We stay in Kosice for the night.

Day 4 Today we are going to see the massive and very attractive castle of Krasna Horka, which was built around 1320 and fully renoved nowaday, and also take a short stop in Rosnava a small town nearby and the luxury Manor house of Betliar, before we take the road through the Tatra mountains to Trencin, where we will stay for the night.

Day 5 We check out the castle of trencin, than go to Krakow for a 2 days stop.

Day 6 Day in Krakow, free time or optional trip to the salt mines and Auschwitz or to the tatra mountains. Same hotel
Day 7 Back to slovakia, we are heading to Bratislava, but short break at the Bojnice castle, which is a tiny wondercastle. We stay in Bratislava hotel,

Day 8 After a short walk in bratislava downtown, and visit in the castle of bratislava we move on to Vienna to see the castle of habsburgs, the Schoenbrunn palace. We will stay in Vienna for the night.

Day 9 Free time in Vienna in the morning, later on we go to Budapest, but with short stay in Sopron and visit in the Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma. We stay in Budapest for the night,
