Kosice City Break

Kosice is a large historical city in eastern slovakia, close to hungarian border. The beautifully renovated downtown has a real medieval atmosphere with its narrow streets, small shops and magnificent cathedral. Many great museums, enjoyable nightclubs, jazz clubs here. And the surrounding Tatra mountains offers great outdoor programs, such as castle tours, golf, spas

Best time to visit

You can come all year round, but best time for having a nice weather is from spring to late autumn.

Money and stuff

Slovakia and Bratislava uses EURO from 1st January 2009. So if you are from any EURO country, you do not have to change anything. If you are from other country you can change easily but you still can use your own bankcard, credit or debit at any ATMs or at any shop.

Crimes are not that common, although you should be careful for pickpockets, on buses, trams or marketplaces. If you have common sense you can easily avoid stressful situations. If you have any problem, pls make a police report.

Most of them located in the main street, marketplace is off the main street but cheap fruits and vegetables there.
