Rafting on Dunajec river
Dunajec is a river formed by two tributaries: Biały (White) Dunajec and Czarny (Black) Dunajec, and flowing through the beautiful gorges of the Pieniny Mountains. In these mountains you can take part in the rafting down the Dunajec River on the traditional wooden raft and enjoy the picturesque mountain scenery.
Dunajec River Rafting is a fascinating tourist attraction incredibly popular on the European scale. Not only is it an exciting way of admiring the natural beauty of the Pieniny National Park but also a way of learning about the local traditions and culture.
Unique in Europe - running the rapids of the Dunajec on wooden rafts amidst the wonderful natural scenery of the Pieniny National Park. The 9 km-long route leads from Červený Kláštor down to the village of Lesnica, and the run lasts 70-90 minutes
