Cluj is located in the middle of Transylvania, Romania. Has around 300.000 inhabitants. The city lies at the confluence of the Apuseni Mountains, the Someº plateau and the Transylvanian plain. It sprawls over the valleys of Somesul Mic and Nadas, and, to some extent over the secondary valleys of the Popesti, Chintau, Borhanci and Popii rivers.

Cluj is extremly rich in history, and historical places, buildings.
One of the most famous man to be born here is the once hungarian king Matthias. His birthplace can be visited and a lot argued statue of the king can be found front of the Saint Michaels Church which was built in the 14th century.
There is an Orthodox Cathedral on the Avram Iancu square.
Cluj Napoca has many museums as the National Museum of Transylvanian history or the Ethnographical Museum
Check out the National Museum of Art on Unirii square, which is a formal palace and has an extensive collection of Romanian art and some foreign as well
Many homegrown band located in Cluj, including the Cheeky girls, :-) . But there are many discos playing house and electronical musics. The major entertainment area is the city downtown, as you can find Diesel Club onthe Unrii square.

In Cluj there are buses, trams and trolley buses (kindda like a mix of buses and tram without rails). The tramline is going through the city.
