Jurgow is located near Zakopane near the once border with Slovakia (actually on the other side of the Tatra mountain than Zdiar).
What to see in Jurgow? What to do in Jurgow?
Jurgow is a very charming mountain village, surrounded by high Tatran hills. This part is reach in wooden houses, wooden churches. There is also a sepherd's museum and a water powered sawmill which is still working.
As Jurgow is popular among tourists, there are many restaurants, small shops. Roads are good, there are a couple of petrol stations. Nowy Targ is the closest city to Jurgow which is only around 10kms away. There are a huge market on the riverbanks in Nowy Targ. Krakow is about 85kms, but there are regular buses.

There are also another ski lifts in Białka Tatrzańska (about 4km from Jurgow) or Bukowina Tatrzańska with a similar distance. If you prefer Slovak's ski lifts you have them also in Zdiar (Strednica) (about 10 km from Jurgowa) or in Bachleova Dolina (about 14km from Jurgów). But it will be best when you choose our ski lifts in Jurgów. From the top of Górków Wierch hill there are very nice views for surrounding area.
