The healing mineral water can be found at the end of the village LiptovskY Jan, in the natural bath spring, which is called “tank” by local inhabitants. In its vicinity there is a drinkable mineral water spring called Teplica and the thermal swimming pool Sorea together with the indoor pool at the hotel Sorea Maj.Nowadays you can visit the indoor swimming pool with thermal water, which is open all year round, and is situated at Hotel Sorea Maj, or you can just take a stroll around the village of LiptovskY Jan and at its end quench your thirst with mineral water from the spring Teplica. Right next to it, you can sink your tired feet or your whole body into the thermal water in the local “tank” and feel the gentle pins and needles and gradual alleviation. And this all is for free!

Piestany spa
This spa gained fame due to the healing power of the sulphur-carbonate and calciferous-magnesium water with a temperature of 69.5oC, the sulphur mud, the high quality medical care and the social life which took place here and which is an inherent part of the spa environment. At present, Piešt(any is sought out for its special healing effects after accidents, scoliosis, spinal diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid spondylitis, etc.
Therapies: The mineral water is most frequently applied in the form of baths at a temperature of 35-38oC. Mud procedures are applied in partial and complete wraps. Along with the natural therapeutic resources, there is an entire array of rehabilitation methods and techniques, therapeutic calisthenics, water therapy procedures and therapeutic massages.
Trencianske Teplice
Indications: The spa treats illnesses of the locomotor organs and spine, psoriasis and nervous diseases.
Therapies: The basis of the comprehensive therapy is the thermal sulphate-hydro-carbonate, calciferous magnesium, sulphuric mineralized water with temperatures between 37 – 40.2 degree celsius, mineralized fango and high-quality balneo-grade peat.
The spa section, with treatment centers in both classic and modern styles, is situated in a beautiful park. The magnificent natural environment and the therapeutic effects of the thermal springs make Trenc(ianske Teplice one of the oldest and most popular spa centers in Slovakia.

Indications: 9 springs with hydro-carbonate, calciferous-magnesium water with temperatures between 28-52degree celsius comprise the foundation for treatment of illnesses of the locomotor organs, nervous illnesses and occupational illnesses.
Therapies: Individual treatment plans for each patient can involve 7 different hyperthermal and isothermal pools, water therapy procedures, massages, electrotherapy, rehabilitation, spine manipulation treatment, acupuncture, oxygen therapy and sessions in the salt cave.
