Where is it valid?
InterRail Railpasses are valid in most of the european countries.
Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Czech rep., Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, UK, Greece, The Netherlands, Croatia, Ireland, Poland, Luxemburg, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey. And ferries operated by Attica between Italy and Greece.
How long does an InterRail Railpass valid?
There are different period of validity. You can buy pass for 5days, 10days, 15days, 22days and 1month.
Any restriction on the Railpasses?
No restriction, but the 5days pass you have to use within 10days, 10days pass within 22days, the others are continous. That means you can use the 5days pass to ride around for 5days but the 5days have to be in a 10days timeframe.
Is there any discount for children, seniors?
Yes there are different prices for adults and children
Is the railpass valid for 1st class or 2nd class on trains
Normally on 2nd class, but you can buy 1st class passes as well for an extra. But european 2nd classes are quite good and comfortable.
Is the railpass valid for overnight trains?
Yes it is valid, although you have to pay for the sleeping cabins, couchettes.
